Face it, every table in your restaurant is valuable real estate and your entire Front of House staff need to recognize opportunity and maximize sales every table, every shift, every time.  Otherwise, they’re leaving hundreds of dollars on the table (perhaps thousands each week) and your restaurant is losing money!  Not to mention the average dining experiences that “Order Takers” provide their customers.

Fact is, new customers come in the door just about every day, and they don’t know the first thing about what makes your restaurant special or what they’ll enjoy.  So, I’ve always believed that staff need to educate, inform and entertain each guest.  This is superior service and when your staff are having more fun and making more money, guess what?  Your customers are having more Fun and Spending more Money!   They’ll also be telling all their friends about your place.
